Established in 1995, The MD, Mr Riaan Swart, said that Servmat Steel Service Centre grew from the Chantex group of companies and changed to a closed corporation in 2008. Being one of the first lasercutting companies in the Western Cape. Through ownership and constant management, the group implements intricate teamwork and synergy to ensure a full service offering to clients in various industries.
We are flexible in our service offering and give clients the choice of including material in the quote or supplying their own. Highly skilled programmers and equipment allow us to work from sketches, samples and blue prints. Please note - Electronic drawings supplied in a .dxf or .dwg format will reduce turnaround time both for quotation and cutting purposes.
Our capacity has increased significantly with new high tech laser machines and CNC pressbrakes. Per month, an excess of 500 tons of material is handled on our floor.
